"This is the first Valentine's Day that I've ever celebrated," Klaus admits. It's a silly holiday, but aren't most of them kind of silly? Like Thanksgiving and Christmas, today is about celebrating bonds and connections, just in a difference sense that Klaus has never really had cause for before.

He's never been a romantic person, and he still doesn't really consider himself one, but he has his moments, and this is one of them. He wanted things to be special because Obi-Wan is worth the work. This is worth the work, though it never really feels like work at all.

Obi-Wan joins him on the mattress and Klaus is pleased that the heater creates a nice little bubble of warmth for them. As long as they stay here, in this spot, there is no real chill to feel at all. He reaches over to grab the containers and sets them on the bed in front of them, handing over a pair of wooden chopsticks and a bottle of water to Obi-Wan as he looks up at the sky.

"I'll admit, all the talk of meteors has me a bit nervous," Klaus says as he flips open the container for his sushi roll. "Bad memories, maybe. Putting all this together helped keep me busy, so it was sort of duel purpose."
