When Obi-Wan lays back, Klaus lets go of his hand so he can draw Obi's arm around his shoulders instead, settling against him with his head on Obi's shoulder. More streaks of light spread across the sky, and even Klaus can tell that they are too far away to worry about. Instead, the create a beautiful show in the night sky, and Klaus marvels over how perfect this exact moment in time is.
"I could live in this moment," he says after a long while, twisting his head to look up at Obi-Wan's face. He's said that once before, but it's even truer now. He's never experienced a moment as incredible as this one. He's never felt such peace.
He lifts his head to give Obi-Wan a kiss, smiling into it before pulling away to turn his gaze back up at the sky. Another piece of meteor soars by with a twinkling trail of light, and Klaus presses in closer to Obi-Wan with an utterly content sigh.
