As he had promised, Obi-Wan has never allowed himself to feel what Klaus is feeling without his permission. He's never used his abilities on him at all, except when he's asked, and for silly things, like closing the door behind them or opening a lock when their hands are full. But when Klaus tells him he can feel him, he opens up to the Force, reaches out with it and into it, and he finds Klaus, finds the depth of everything he feels.

And it's so much. So terribly beautiful, overwhelming in its truthfulness, and perhaps one of the most wondrous things Obi-Wan has ever felt.
