"You don't realize that at least half the things you say sound like poetry," Klaus says with a fond laugh, smiling up at Obi-Wan as his fingers travel across Klaus's face. "You astound me constantly."
Obi-Wan is so wise and thoughtful, like the spiritual guru that Klaus pretended to be except entirely sincere. He is the best of men, and Klaus is constantly surprised that Obi-Wan wants to be with him of all people. Surprised, but overwhelmingly grateful. He deserves to be told this, so Klaus swallows hard and reaches up to touch his face.
"You have made me feel special since the night we met," Klaus tells him, dragging his fingertips lightly through his beard. "You make me feel seen and understood. You listen to me, you ask about me. You-- you love me. That is better than any poetry."
Klaus swallows hard, eyes crinkling at the corners as he traces Obi-Wan's lower lip with his thumb. "If you express yourself anymore strongly than that, you might ruin me."
