"I love playing doctor," Klaus teases back, though his expression goes a bit more serious as he listens to Obi-Wan speak. He knows how strong that Obi-Wan's belief system is, how much it means to him, and knowing that he faltered for even a moment due to Klaus, makes him feel deeply touched. He would not want Obi-Wan to waver, wouldn't want to upend his life like that, but it still means something.

"I knew you would," he confirms, smiling as he reaches up to touch Obi-Wan's face, fingertips trailing along his cheek and up into his hair. Maybe it hadn't been a conscious thought at the time, but a part of him knew without a doubt that Obi-Wan would come for him. Obi-Wan will always come for him. The knowledge is more comforting than he knows how to put into words.

So, he doesn't. Instead, he cradles Obi-Wan's jaw and pulls him into a deep kiss, wrapping his arms around him and licking into his mouth in the hope of sharing what he's feeling, and also because he just wants to be kissing Obi-Wan all the time. He can never get enough of how good it feels, and how healthy it is compared to the things that he could never get enough of in the past. This a good thing to want, something that makes him better and better all the time.
