"Nah, it didn't hurt. Tickled mostly," Klaus says, shrugging a little as he slides his hand along his stomach until his fingers are linked with Obi-Wan's. "Got my first one at thirteen, remember? We were trained to withstand torture growing up. A tattoo is nothing."
The question brings up another happy memory: Dave laughing and smiling, holding his hand and telling Klaus to squeeze if it hurt too badly. He had no idea that Klaus was trained to withstand torture, after all.
"No tattoos for Dave. He was Jewish," Klaus says, falling silent before remembering that Obi-Wan most likely has no idea what that is. "It's a religion. I don't know a ton about it, but apparently desecrating your body," he says, using air quotes around the last words, "is a big no no. He mostly just thought that his mom would kill him."
He laughs softly and picks up Obi-Wan's hand again, threading their fingers together and bringing their hands up to kiss Obi-Wan's knuckles. "I got them on a whim, aside from my squads," he says, gesturing at his bicep and the inside of his forearm, "but I'm glad that I have them. Well, I might regret the tiger."
