"I don't mind," Obi-Wan answers. It's been many years since Qui-Gon was killed and he has meditated on the moment countless times, coming to the understanding that Qui-Gon's death was not his fault. He couldn't have done anything to prevent what happened and thus he has let his Master go. There are still times he misses him, misses the guidance he would have given, but Qui-Gon taught him well and Obi-Wan remembers his lessons.

"He was killed by the same man who later killed Satine," he says softly. And yet, despite those heavy losses, Obi-Wan still does not hate Maul. He has no place for hate in his heart, which is something of a relief. If he were capable of it, he knows it would be Maul who would stir it within him.

It isn't Qui-Gon's death he wants to speak of, though. Klaus is so important to him now and it's Qui-Gon's life he wants to tell him about. The way he thought, the lessons he helped Obi-Wan learn.

"He was a very rebellious Jedi," he says, smiling at Klaus. "Which is why Master Yoda thought he would be a good fit as my Master. When I was a youngling, I was very rebellious, too. I challenged every lesson, everything we were taught, and when I was faced with Qui-Gon, who did the same, I found I wanted to rebel against him instead and I did so by fully devoting myself to becoming the best Jedi I could."
