"Oh, I would like to see that," Obi-Wan says, their fingers linking easily as they float in the cool water, the warm, early afternoon sun pouring through the branches, dappling shade on the surface of the water. Light shifts and refracts and Obi-Wan thinks he could find every reason to stay here for as long as they can manage.

"Otters are the ones with the waterproof fur, aren't they?" he asks. "I've only seen them in books, though I imagine there must be some living wild in Darrow somewhere. There are sea otters and river otters, I believe."

Most of the animals in Darrow are foreign to Obi-Wan, though he's learned about them as well as he can, reading books and articles online. He's been meaning to go to the zoo eventually, although he doesn't know that he'll like seeing the animals in captivity.
