"Perhaps I can find some to wear just for you," Obi-Wan answers, smiling slightly as he rests one hand on Klaus's thigh. His voice is a little distracted, though, and his gaze moves off into the middle distance as he considers what Klaus has said. It isn't that he needs to be paid, really, and he certainly doesn't need to make himself wealthy, not when Darrow supplies Obi-Wan with enough funds to pay his rent and his utility bills, as well as buying himself food and being able to take Klaus out for a nice dinner every so often without worrying.
It isn't the money that concerns him, but the sense of purpose. Or, in his case, the lack thereof.
"I'm just used to having something to do," he admits. "A goal. A... well, a calling, I suppose. And while I would much rather remain here in a world without war, there is a part of me that feels adrift in some ways. Anakin no longer needs my training and there are very few other Jedi here in Darrow. I can't imagine Rey or Ben being especially interested in traditional Jedi training regardless of their abilities."
