Besides Klaus, Obi-Wan has never attempted to train anyone in the ways of meditation who wasn't already a Jedi, well versed in the art of it and the focus it requires. While he believes Vanya wants to make this attempt, wants to find a way to better understand her own motivations and how to keep others safe from the powers that result when her emotions are overwhelming, he also knows he needs to approach this differently than he would have with Anakin or another Padawan.

They arrange to meet in the same location where they had stumbled across one another before. It's a peaceful clearing, one without distraction, and Obi-Wan believes it will be a good place to begin. In time he'll want her to try meditating even in places where she feels she can't, but for now, he understands they must start small.

And he hopes she's been practicing, as he suggested. Even if it's only five minutes, practice is the only thing that will help her achieve anything at all. As with most things in life, he's found. No one is naturally good at anything, not without a little help and practice.

He's already in the clearing, making sure the ground isn't too wet or too cold. While Obi-Wan can essentially remove himself from such experiences, Vanya is too new. Reducing the distractions is of the utmost importance for now.
